LONG STORY...

After 26 years working as a graphic designer in the corporate world  Jacqui swapped her computer for the analogue world of letterpress.
A nine hour round trip from Lancashire to Fife in Scotland, to buy the first press of many, was the start of a journey that fate would take a hold of and create a dream.
Many friends have been met along the path but one in particular became a life long friend and mentor during her journey. John, a retired letterpress compositor and printer, passed on all his knowledge and shared his wonderful world of letterpress printing. The passion for using old skills grew stronger and soon it was time to move on and create a world of her own fuelled by the smell of freshly printed letterpress ink and a passion for typography.

Print for Love of Wood was born and began to grow.

All those years working with clients in the corporate world were not wasted. Jacqui discovered her love for working with couples on their wedding stationery. She loves to take a vision and bring it to life. From the design stage through to the printing, when you  feel the tactile impression in the luxurious cotton paper.
It was a natural progression that Print for Love was born and become part of the dream. Jacqui works from a studio surrounded by a large collection of antique wood type and printing presses.

The dream continues, printed with love…
