Working with Louise & Gareth was an absolute joy. They loved art deco and their venue was an old converted schoolhouse Great John Street Hotel with the most gorgeous library and rooftop terrace. The first stage of bespoke design is always a mood board, this helps me get to know my couples and what they love. One thing item on the mood board can set the scene for the whole wedding, in Louis & Gareth's case it was these Fitzgerald book covers, we both loved them, plus part of their reception would be in an old library! I designed them a book cover type invite with a 4 page inserts, the front covers I printed in silver ink but to give them extra sparkle I dusted them with silver bronzing powder. The inner pages were hand sewn with linen thread with a simple pamphlet stitch. I used an Aubergine accent colour for the RSVP, menu and table names. They found an amazing Speakeasy band and the wedding looked amazing and so much fun! Of course Louise looked stunning and the last photo above could be a scene from an old hollywood movie!
Lots more fantastic photographs to see over on Anna's blog www.annahardy.co.uk, so much love and fun! And I can't ask for better feedback from such a lovely couple, thank you! xxx
Dear Jacqui,
I can't tell you how thrilled I am with our invitations!! Thank you so much for your incredible artistry, attentiveness and the very long hours that I know you have put in to produce such beautiful invitations for us. I'm really over the moon with them and I feel that they absolutely set the tone for our very special day.
I have lost count of the number of compliments we have had about your invitations - ranging from 'super stylish' to 'stunning' and (my favourite!) - Gareth's Gran's comment "the most beautiful invitation I have ever received". Very satisfied customers are we!
Thank you again - we love what you have done for us!
Kindest wishes,
Louise & Gareth
